The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center (NC) Tiaong, in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Brgy. Lumingon, held the 2022 Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).

The activity started with a prayer, the Philippine National Anthem, and simple opening remarks by Barangay Councilor Eugenia B. Rondero as a representative to the Brgy. Captain Baldomero Sagani “Gani” B. Rubio. Negosyo Center Tiaong Business Counselor Zara H. Capina explained the Go Negosyo Act, 8 Karapatan ng Mamimili at 5 Pananagutan ng Mamimili, and the different programs and services offered by the Department of Trade and Industry, such as the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program, Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Program, One Town, One Product (OTOP) Next Gen and OTOP.PH, including the new RISE UP Loan programs of SB Corp, to extend government services to the people and increase the awareness and engagement of barangay officials. With the help and assistance of Barangay Secretary Michael R. Torres and other barangay councilors, 65 participants including barangay officials and existing and potential entrepreneurs, received information materials and hygiene kits composed of face masks and alcohol. ♦
