CATANAUAN, QUEZON — As part of the celebration of the Boling-Boling Festival, an Agri-Tourism Fair was held from February 17–21, 2023. The activity aimed to promote tourism destinations, farm produce, and local products to assist those farmers’ associations in reaching a wider market. It also featured the distribution of vegetable seeds to those who are interested in urban farming and gardening. Various items were sold, from fresh fruits and vegetables to processed delicacies such as dried fish, chips, and jams, among others.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)—Quezon through Negosyo Center—Catanauan monitored the local exhibitors in the Agri-Tourism Fair. Business Counselor Leah Maris S. de Imus profiled the different associations to further evaluate the possible intervention(s) the DTI may provide. A total of P257,802.50 in sales of local products and farm produce were generated by the local government during the four-day Agri-Tourism Fair. ♦
