The Department of Trade and Industry in Quezon City, through Negosyo Center General Nakar Quezon, conducted a seminar on how to start a business and Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3) Orientation. It was attended by 37 participants who are existing MSMEs and potential clients who want to start their businesses and enhance their knowledge on putting up a business. The activity started at 1:30 P.M. with an opening prayer followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Honorable Juliana C. Sabiduria, barangay chairwoman of Barangay Pisa General Nakar, delivered the welcoming remarks.

Nanette Tan, Business Counselor (BC) from Negosyo Center General Nakar – Quezon, started to share her knowledge on how to start a business. She defined it first as an introduction and discussed the rewards and risks of entrepreneurship. She gave an overview of starting a small business and emphasized the benefits of MSMEs if their business is registered. She gave a brief discussion on the Small Business Corporation (SBCorp). ♦
