LUCBAN, QUEZON — Tiyangge sa Lucban opened on May 1, 2023, marking the beginning of the San Isidro Pahiyas Festival Celebration in Lucban, Quezon. The celebration is a form of thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest and in honor of San Isidro de Labrador, the patron saint of farmers. Since the event’s inception, Tiyangge sa Lucban, a fair showcasing Lucban’s products, has benefited the municipality. This fair features foods native to the town like the delicious Lucban longganisa, pancit habhab, puto seko, broas, and other local delights. It also sells attractive plants, handicrafts, and a variety of food items. The fair will be held from May 1 to May 31, 2023, with the goal of assisting local MSMEs in promoting their products.

To further support MSMEs, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center Lucban, visited each booth and provided business information materials as well as invitations to the DTI’s upcoming seminars and webinars. MSMEs were also profiled in order to better assess potential DTI assistance.
