DTI-Laguna through, Negosyo Center (NC) Luisiana, engages in the General Assembly of Laguna Cacao Farmers Association (LCFA), a renowned association assisted by DTI-Laguna in several aspects: operations, marketing, and other pertinent programs last 5 April 2022.
The focus of the discussion banks on centralized data gathering and shared responsibility for various tasks done by the association. Moreover, the opportunity of TESDA-related programs and interventions such as the Trainers Methodology (TM) Program is also introduced among the members in order for them to avail the said services.
The topics related to operations such as production report, quality, fermentation process, marketing, machine operations, and distribution of interventions by the government are pondered during the activity.
Engr. Christine Mae Roguel of the Municipal Agriculture Office welcomes guests and participating staff of various government agencies. To add, Mr. Arnel Magpily, Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist (STIDS) of DTI Laguna, shares the importance of cooperation among the association members and reiterated the value of reliable inventory data to be used in the group planning and direction-setting.
Machine operations were further discussed by Mr. Pedrio Mergilio, LCFA president, as he shared his extensive knowledge on the dynamics of the cooperative’s machinery. ♦
