Through the initiative of the LGU Business Permit Licensing Office (BPLO), together with the representatives from regulatory offices such as the DTI Negosyo Center- Mauban, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), the Municipal Health Office (MHO), the Engineering Office, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), conducted the yearly business permit joint inspection.

The Joint Inspection Team (JIT) visited existing business establishments in the Barangays of Mauban from October to November 2022. This inspection is part of LGU Mauban’s preparation for next year’s business permit renewal. The JIT reminded every business owner of the requirements they needed to prepare, as well as some changes to the process.

DTI NC Mauban, on the other hand, checked the DTI Certificates of registered sole proprietors’ businesses to ensure that their permit is still valid and had not expired. For unregistered businesses, NC Mauban’s Business Counselor explained the requirements for DTI registration as well as the process and fees.

This Joint Inspection of the Regulatory Offices can help the LGU determine unregistered businesses three months before the renewal period each year and remind the business establishment to act on non-compliance findings during the inspection.
