The 2nd Session of Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) was conducted last 14 – 16 February 2022 on the 3rd floor of the Municipal Annex Building, Brgy. Poblacion, Polillo, Quezon. The program started with the Opening Prayer, led by the consultant from Envia Consultancy, and followed by the Overview of the program session. It was attended by the department heads and representatives of different offices in the local government unit (LGU), barangay captains, as well as representatives from national agencies like the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Philippine National Police (PNP), and other organizations.

The CLUP is a planning document prepared by LGUs to rationalize the allocation and proper use of land resources. It projects public and private land uses in accordance with the future spatial organization of economic and social activities of the municipality of Polillo.

On the first day of the session, they discussed the physical characteristics, areas of constraints, and land demand-supply balancing, the urban forms concept, the concept structure plan, the definition of terms, and the concept of CDP. On the second day, they discussed the continuation of the program, project, and activity detailing, as well as the introduction to the zoning ordinance. On the third day, the participants identified the priority projects and prepared a proposal for the identified priority projects. ♦
