POLILLO, QUEZON — Negosyo center Polillo participates the public hearing entitled comprehensive land use plan and zoning ordinance in the municipality of Polillo. The public hearing was conducted on February 28, 2023 (Tuesday) at Polillo Sports Complex, Brgy. Poblacion Polillo, Quezon.
The program starts with the opening prayer followed by national anthem and an overview of the program which led by Hon. Arnold Reagan G. Sandoval the Chairperson of committee on rules and privileges/ ordinances and legal matters. It was attended by the department heads and representatives of different offices in LGU, different agencies like DTI and other organizations.
The purpose of public hearing was to allocates available land resources for different population sectors in the municipality of Polillo on how land is expected to be developed and how land uses may change over time to prepare the lands for the future of Polillo.
The presentation of the draft land use and zoning ordinance was led by a planning specialist of acting MPDC/Zoning officer EnP Romel B. Calzado and discussed the areas of constraints, physical characteristics, Urban forms structural plan concept and the concept of CDP. As the program ends participants identified the priority projects and prepared a proposal for the identified projects. ♦
