On 18 – 20 April 2022, Riezl Jane B. Hernandez Negosyo Center (NC) Business Counselor (BC) Tagkawayan conducted Livelihood Seedling Program – Negosyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) regular runs at Barangay Magsaysay and Sta. Cecilia, Tagkawayan, Quezon. Both activities started at 1:00 in the afternoon and were conducted in accordance with LGU’s protocols and standards for the current Alert Level.

A total of 220 participants attended the above-mentioned activity. During the program, Ms. Hernandez commenced the presentation and tackled the programs and services of the NC for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Also present at the event were Leah S. Gadapan – Licensing Officer III who shares information about Business Licensing, Mr. Tristan Jhon A. Pia – Sales and Promotion Supervisor (LEDIPO) who encourage participants to engage in livelihood programs in the municipality, and lastly the members of Sangguniang Barangay headed by their Barangay Chairman who gave their entire support during the discussion.

Some of the questions raised pertaining to the livelihood program, training and seminars that DTI can provide, applying for loan assistance, business registration assistance, improvement of the product (packaging and layout), and product innovation. Overall, the event were both successfully held in each respective barangays. ♦
