The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center (NC) Tiaong, in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Brgy. Lagalag, held 2022 Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).

The activity started with a prayer, the Philippine National Anthem and simple opening remarks by Barangay Secretary Celeste E. Marquez on behalf of their Barangay Captain Juanito “Nitoy” L. Umali. Negosyo Center Tiaong Business Counselor Zara H. Capina explained the Go Negosyo Act, 8 Karapatan ng Mamimili at 5 Pananagutan ng Mamimili and the different programs and services offered by the Department of Trade and Industry such as Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program, Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Program, OTOP Next Gen and OTOP.PH, including the new RISE UP Loan programs of SB Corp, to extend the government services to the people and to increase the awareness and engagement of barangay officials. It was attended, with the help and assistance of barangay officials, by sixty (60) participants, consisting of forty-two (42) males and eighteen (18) females, including barangay officials and existing and potential entrepreneurs whereas they received information materials and hygiene kits composed of facemasks and alcohol.♦
