Cavite BPLO heads take oath as the Newly Elected Officers of the Cavite Association of Business Permit and Licensing Officers (CABPLO), Inc. on 18 October 2022 at Sherwood Hills, Barangay Hugo Perez, Trece Martires City, Cavite.

The activity marks the beginning of the Cavite BPLOs’ collaboration in improving the competitiveness and business-friendliness of LGUs in the province.

CABPO President, Ms. Edith T. Herrera, expressed her excitement over the planned activities of the association and thanked DTI and its partner agencies for acknowledging the BPLOs’ important role in accelerating the country’s economic recovery.

After administering the oath-taking ceremony, PD Cortez congratulated CABPLO and assured DTI’s support in all its activities.

“We had a rundown of BPLO associations in CALABARZON and realized that Cavite may actually be the first one to establish its own. With that, I congratulate CABPLO, its officers, and members for making this possible,” said PD Cortez.

After the oath-taking and preliminary activities, Ms. Herrera called for a short meeting to discuss concerns including their commitments to the National Association of Business Permit and Licensing Officers (NABPLO), Inc. and planned benchmarking activities to multi-awarded LGUs known for their innovation and best practices in addressing issues related to business permits and licensing.
