The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Quezon Provincial Office in partnership with Kandelarya The Farm Kitchen, Candelaria, Quezon conducted the Pedro at Maria Lokal Market on 5-7, and 12-14 February 2021.
The activity aims to support local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and farmers to showcase and sell their locally made products like coco jam, vinegar, salabat brew, guyabano mangosteen wine, chili sauce, mushroom crisps, desserts, and many more.
Kandelarya The Farm Kitchen is a combination of fast food and Filipino fine-dining style offering a new concept of dining experience through showcasing pocket areas of “Bahay-Kubo” grown vegetables and animals raised within the resto compound. They promoted “Local for the locals!” The days 5-7 February 2021 were dedicated to the Candle Festival while 12-14 February were for the Valentine’s Day celebration.
Nine MSMEs participated in the activity including Pinagdanlayan MPC, Jai-Jai Banana Chips, Yakap at Halik Q1, TNP Foods and Beverages, Rodelas Ani Mushroom Products, CACOPAMAI, GSafehave, and Sweet Treats Thea Brille Food Products. The total sales generated amounted to P43,786.00.♦
