Thru the joint efforts of LGU Polillo and Negosyo Center Polillo, an ocular inspection was conducted in 28 business establishments, consisting of 19 registered and 9 unregistered, in Brgy. Poblacion.

The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) interviewed the business owners if they have a business permit, while the business counselor (BC) checked if they have a DTI certificate. The BC explained the importance and benefits of registering a business in DTI and in the local government unit (LGU). The BC also advised the grocery and hardware owners to put up an alcohol station, non-contact temperature check. They also made sure that the establishments knew how to register using the Stay Safe app. All these are additional requirements in applying for Safety Seal. The representative of Rural Health Unit (RHU) explained the standard health protocol and advised the business owner to post reminders like “No Facemask, No Entry”, “Observe Social Distancing”. Instructions were also given on how to make a disinfectant at a lower cost. The other members of joint inspection Team are Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO), Municipal Planning & Development Office (MPDC), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO), Municipal Engineering Office (MEO), RHU, Sanitary and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). ♦
