After the successful awarding of the first batch of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Livelihood Kit in Cainta, Rizal, another batch was awarded on October 17, 2022, at People’s Center, Cainta Municipal Compound, Cainta, Rizal.
The ceremony started with an invocation led by Mr. Michael Avisado-PPG Staff, followed by an overview of the program cited by Ms. Cleotilde M. Duran, DTI Rizal OIC-Provincial Director. She discussed the PPG program reiterating that this is one of the interventions of the government particularly to micro, small, and medium enterprises who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. She challenged the beneficiaries to sustain their businesses through the livelihood assistance provided to them.
Two of the beneficiaries, Ms. Liza Cinco and Ms. Mila Villoso shared their thoughts and testimonies on how this livelihood assistance will help them and their families. Both of them expressed their thanks to DTI and promised to take care of the kit given to them. Photo opportunity followed capturing the happy faces of the beneficiaries.
Present also in the event were Ms. Sharon F. Dioco-DTI Rizal Business Development Division Chief, Ms. Marlene G. De Luna- Senior Trade and Industry Specialist and DTI Business Counselors and Support Staff.
At the end, the total of 61 sari-sari store owners received the livelihood kits on the last batch of the awarding in Cainta, Rizal. ♦
