Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal through Negosyo Center Binangonan held Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Awarding of Sari-Sari Store Livelihood Kits at Casimiro A. Ynares Auditorium.
28 September 2022, marked a special day for 60 Binangonenses—36 from island barangays and 24 from mainland barangays—as they received livelihood kits for sari-sari store owners.
After more than two years of being affected by the pandemic, these livelihood kits will have a huge impact on their businesses and lives, as they were on their way to recovery.
Present during the awarding ceremony was Municipal Administrator Russel Guiller Ynares who welcomed the beneficiaries and other attendees. He also encouraged the recipients to make the most of the blessings they were about to receive. The Municipal Counselors Hon. James Michael Paralejas and Hon. Jerome Antiporda also graced the ceremony. They both congratulated the beneficiaries and reminded them to continue to practice diligence and perseverance as we move towards recovery from the devastating effects of the pandemic.
Mr. Gladdie Mallari, PCCI-Rizal President, lauded the beneficiaries and cautioned them to be grateful of the blessings they are to receive no matter how small it is.
Ms. Sharon Dioco, Business Development Division Chief of DTI Rizal, shared that this awarding of livelihood kits manifested the government’s desire to help the entrepreneurs recover from the COVID-19 effects not only on the common people but on different industries as well, including MSMEs. She hoped that from this “seeding program,” a blossom of enterprise would arise.
Ms. Buena Añis and Mr. Doroteo Maño represented the beneficiaries and expressed their sincere gratitude for the assistance they got from the PPG Program. This will surely be a huge help to their businesses on their path to recovery. ♦
