On 27 October 2021, SICAP Quezon Agriculture Cooperative presented their proposed project for the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) project for cacao processing worth P2.5-M during the Regional Technical Working Group (RTWG) of the DTI Region-IV-A via Zoom.
The project aims to ensure that the cacao farmers’ harvest will be processed using the best possible materials and equipment to product the best product. The processing center is located in Brgy. Talipan, Pagbilao, Quezon.
Florencio Flores, SICAP Chairman, presented their project proposal and answered the questions of the RTWG together with Manager Lyka Camille Perez, Perry Osmond and Susano Babilonia.
The RTWG Team consists of Regional Director Toledo, Assistant Regional Director Argente, Eduardo R. Nicolas III of ECOP-PCCI, Marina Manalo, Chief of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Division (SMEDD), Leif Byron S. Samiano, and Merry Cris T. Pabillar, SMEDD Support Staff were present in the said meeting.
Also DTI Quezon SSF Team assisted in the said meeting which consist of Provincial Director Tadiosa, Ma. Graciela C. Ledesma, Provincial Coordinator and Dara Jannes C. Obmerga, SSF Support Staff.
In order to complete the requirements of the RTWG, the cooperative will be submitting additional attachments to support the details of their documents.
The said project is expected to launch before the end of 2021.♦
