All roads lead to this city for the unveiling of this year’s regional exhibit that would showcase Western Visayas’ craft, artistry and gastronomy at SM City – Iloilo in Mandurriao District, Iloilo City on 14 November.
 
The DTI Region VI will open the annual celebration of the region’s craftsmanship and skills through the Panubli-on Regional Trade Fair 2018, with the theme “New and Now.” The exhibit runs until November 18, 2018.
 
DTI VI Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon said that the trade fair will showcase output of all efforts in assisting MSMEs from branding, packaging and labeling with sought after consultants and experts for the food and non-food sector.
 
A total of 160 exhibitors from Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo and Negros Occidental are expected to showcase their products that had undergone intensive product development with the tutelage of renowned international lifestyle designer PJ Arañador together with industrial designer Stanley Ruiz, interior designer Susan Mari Liao, concept consultant Emerson Junn Lim, and graphic artists Joseph Benedicto, Sean Tanciano, Christian Mendoza, Christopher Samong, Al Rhoderick Marzoña, Rudy Rivera Jr., and Trinie Pauline Siasat.
 
Besides the five-day product exhibit, Panublion 2018 will also have a gala fashion show.
 
The product exhibit and sale in the fair will be a variety of creations ranging from gifts, housewares and decors, fashion accessories of indigenous fibers like piña, abaca, raffia, unique furnishings and novelty items, among others.♦
