Organization

The objective of the STMO is to create an environment in which the Philippines can promote investments in high-value goods and technologies, as well as generate jobs for highly skilled professionals. The STMO has three divisions composed of individuals who possess legal, technical and non-technical expertise in non-proliferation.

Increased investment and employment have been made possible through the effective implementation of the STMA, in particular, these three divisions performing outreach activities with government and industry stakeholders, providing registration and authorization services to regulate cross-border trade in strategic goods, and monitoring industry compliance as required under the STMA.
