Quezon City, Philippines—On November 25, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the House of Representatives (HREP) unveiled the “OTOP is in the House 2.0 + Appliance Fair” to showcase Filipino craftsmanship and innovation.

Held until November 28 at the HREP’s Ramon V. Mitra Building, this collaboration seeks to boost visibility for local micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and stimulate demand for certified appliances.

Highlighting the One Town, One Product (OTOP) program’s long-term vision, this fair feature artisanal, food, textile, and organic goods to support the integration of local creations into the broader national market.

This year’s event expands to even include an appliance fair, which provides consumers access to a wide variety of high-quality appliances. These products are compliant with the mandatory certification scheme under the Philippine Standards Law.

“The ‘OTOP is in the House 2.0 + Appliance Fair’ currently being held at the House of Representatives stands as a powerful testament to the synergy between the DTI and the House of Representatives, a collaboration driven by the shared vision to uplift and empower the Filipino MSMEs,” said DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque.

“Together, we will build a Bagong Pilipinas, a nation that is inclusive, sustainable, and anchored on the talent and tenacity of our people,” she added.

Participating brands in the fair include Tough Mama, 4A Helmets, Fabriano Philippines, Northern Island Appliances (3D), Collins (Dowell), and Asahi.
