Mandaluyong City, Philippines—The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is proud to host the 2024 DTI Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair (NTF), a vibrant celebration of local innovation and craftsmanship. The event will be held from August 21 to 25 at the Megatrade Halls 1-3 of SM Megamall

The NTF seeks to strengthen the marketing of locally produced products. It also aims to empower local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing them with a platform to connect with a broader audience.

Building on the success of last year’s fair, which generated PHP 42.06 million in sales and welcomed over 23,000 visitors, this year’s event is poised to expand its reach and impact.

The upcoming fair will feature a diverse range of artisanal and non-food products crafted from sustainable raw materials like bamboo, natural fibers, and native grass. Additionally, the fair will showcase Halal products, coconut-based innovations for medical use and personal care, novelty items, holiday decor, and home furnishings, among others.

Beyond product exhibitions, the NTF will facilitate business matching and networking activities that will provide crucial opportunities for MSMEs to forge partnerships with institutional buyers.

Among the many highlights of this year’s fair are: the Philippine Sustainability Pavilion, the Coconut Philippines Pavilion, the KAPEtirya Coffee Pavilion, the Rural Agro-Industrial Partnership for Inclusive Development (RAPID) Growth Project, and the Innovation and Services Cluster for government and private sector partners.

“The DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair is a vital platform for empowering the growth and development of MSMEs in the Philippines. This event offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the ingenuity and creativity of our local entrepreneurs. We invite everyone to join us and discover the best of what the Philippines has to offer,” said DTI Acting Secretary Cristina Roque.

Rooted in the DTI’s commitment to uplift micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the NTF attests the Department’s goal to foster sustainable growth and provide extensive market exposure for local entrepreneurs.

The NTF is open to the public with free admission. For more information, visit BMDPO’s social media pages: @BDTP on Facebok, @DTI_BDTP on X, and @dti.bdtp on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
