Iloilo City, Philippines—The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to stage the best of Aklanon products at the annual Panublion 2024 Trade Fair from 13 to 17 November 2024, at the Activity Center of SM City Iloilo, Mandurriao. The fair will feature the top locally-made products from Western Visayas—Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental.

Themed “Panubli-on 2024: The Power of Local Creativity!”, this year’s fair aims to highlight the region’s local culture and craftsmanship, along with each province’s innovative designs and products in their respective pavilions.

Aklan’s pavilion will showcase participating micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to boost the priority industry sectors. Products on display will include loom-woven fabrics and wearables made of piña and other Indigenous fibers, fashion accessories, gifts, furnishings, decorative crafts, food products, and footwear.

Side activities will also include a food crawl supporting Iloilo City’s designation as UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. There will also be a grand fashion show that will focus on the unique collections from local MSMEs.

Panubli-on 2024 is an annual regional marketing activity of DTI Region 6. It exhibits the heritage of the local industries in Western Visayas, preserves the timeless craftsmanship of MSMEs, and encourage continuous innovation. ♦
