Abu Dhabi, UAE—The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) highlights the country’s finest Halal-certified products at the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition (ADIFE) 2024 from November 26 to 28.

Presented by the DTI-Halal Development and Trade Office, the Philippine Pavilion seeks to bolster trade partnerships, broaden market access, and establish the Philippines as a premier Halal trade hub.

At this year’s ADIFE 2024, ten leading Filipino companies represented the country’s thriving food and beverage sector, namely Immuni Global Inc., Wellnesscare International Corporation, JNRM Corporation, Pasciolco Agri Ventures, Pautricia Food Processing Corporation, Project Beans, Raspina Tropical Fruits Inc., Theo & Philo Chocolate Factory Inc., Top Chefs Food Supplies, and Yanyan International Phils Inc.

The Philippine delegation aims to raise a collective amount of USD 3.9 million in trade and revenue sales with a diverse range of Halal-certified products, which signals the Philippines’ growing influence in the Middle East market.

The products presented at the Pavilion included coconut products, cavendish banana, durian, pineapple, condiments, coffee, chocolates, and other beverages.

The Philippine Pavilion at ADIFE 2024 attests to the ingenuity and sustainability of the country’s food industry. It forms part of the “Halal Friendly Philippines” campaign that seeks to foster a robust Halal ecosystem, support the micro, small, and medium enterprises development, and promote Halal certification.

Moreover, this initiative aims to meet the increasing global demand for Halal-certified products, strengthen the Philippines’ position in the international market, and achieve an inclusive economic growth for a “Bagong Pilipinas.” ♦
