Makati, Philippines – June 10, 2024 — Trade Secretary Fred Pascual proudly introduced the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) new slogan: “DTI: ANGAT Negosyo, ASENSO Trabaho, ALAGAng Konsyumer para sa Bagong Pilipinas.” This initiative marks a significant step in DTI’s ongoing commitment to drive economic growth and enhance consumer welfare, aligning seamlessly with the national vision of a “Bagong Pilipinas.”

The new slogan is a pivotal component of DTI’s Communications Strategic Framework, a comprehensive plan designed to unify and elevate the department’s communication efforts across all functional groups and agencies. This framework outlines DTI’s leadership agenda, establishing a clear vision, mission, goals, and strategic intents to propel the organization forward.

“DTI: ANGAT Negosyo, ASENSO Trabaho, ALAGAng Konsyumer para sa Bagong Pilipinas” encapsulates DTI’s dynamic and progressive vision. Building upon the heritage of the previous “Trabaho, Negosyo, Konsyumer” framework, the new slogan revitalizes DTI’s commitment with a strong focus on action and impact. It signifies DTI’s active dedication to advancing businesses, creating high-quality jobs, and protecting consumers, all while aligning with the national leadership agenda under “Bagong Pilipinas.”

“Our vision has never been more explicit: a globally competitive Philippines that is the preferred trading partner and investment destination—fueled by diversified industries, innovation-driven enterprises, empowered consumers, and high-quality job opportunities for all Filipinos,” Secretary Pascual emphasized, underscoring the DTI’s vision and commitment to the Filipino people.

Secretary Pascual highlighted that the new slogan and communications framework are closely aligned with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of a “Bagong Pilipinas.” This national vision calls for comprehensive policy reforms and economic recovery initiatives aimed at tackling longstanding issues such as poverty, hunger, and corruption.

The launch of the new slogan coincides with the implementation of Memorandum Circular No. 52, which promotes a culture of principled, accountable, and dependable governance within government agencies and institutions. This initiative is part of a broader national effort to foster unity and a shared sense of purpose among public servants.
