Bilang tugon sa stratehiya ng Small Business Corporation (SBC) na maiparating sa publiko at maintindihan ng mga magiging benepisyaryo ang pangunahing layunin ng programang Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3), gumawa ang Communications Department ng listahan ng mga kadalasang tanong kaugnay ng programang P3.

  1. Ano ang Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso?Ang programang Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso ay isang inisiyatibo ng pamahalaan upang matulungan ang mga pinaka-maliliit na negosyante sa buong bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng murang pautang na mayroon lamang 2.5% na interes kada buwan.

    Ang programa ay magbibigay ng alternatibong pagkukuhanan ng kapital na mabilis at madali upang kanilang mapalago at mapalaki ang kanilang negosyo. Layon din ng programa na labanan ang 5-6 na skema ng pagpapautang na kadalasang takbuhan ng mga maliliit na negosyante.|

  2. Sinu-sino ang mga benepisyaryo ng P3? Layon ng programa na magpa-abot ng tulong sa pamamagitan ng pautang sa mga micro entrepreneurs na kadalasang umuutang sa mga 5-6 na nagpapautang gaya ng mga market vendors, sari-sari store owners, stall owners, at iba pa.

    Paalala: Ang mga maaari lang maging benepisyaryo ng programa ay mga maliliit na negosyo at mayroong kakayahang magbayad. Ang P3 ay maaari lamang gamitin sa pagnenegosyo.

  3. Saan pwedeng lumapit ang mga maliliit na negosyante para makahiram ng P3? Upang maipa-abot sa kalayunan ang programa, nag-accredit ang Small Business Corporation ng mga micro financing institutions (MFIs) o mga kooperatiba na magsisilbing daanan ng pondo para mas maging madali ang proseso ng pagkuha ng mga pautang.   4. Magkano ang maaaring mahiram? Ang isang micro entrepreneur ay maaaring makahiram mula P5,000 hanggang P200,000 depende sa laki at kakayahang magbayad ng isang negosyante. Para naman sa mga negosyong mayroong isang (1) manggagawa, maaari silang makahiram ng hanggang P200,000. Ang mahihiram na kapital ay maaari lamang gamitin sa pagpapalaki ng o pandagdag ng mga supply ng negosyo.

In response to the Small Business Corporation (SBC) Communication Plan’s primary objective to increase the awareness and provide complete understanding of the internal, external stakeholders and clients on the Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso’s (P3) main objective, the Communications Department has drafted a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) with its corresponding answers for uniformity and consistency of response.

  1. What is the Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3) Program? The Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3) Program is a financing initiative of the government to assist micro entrepreneurs throughout the country by providing affordable and cost efficient micro loans with 2.5% monthly interest.

    The P3 Program is a funding program that will provide an alternative source of financing for micro entrepreneurs that is easy and quick to access. The program is seen to give boost to the micro enterprises sector, which comprise the bulk of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector in the country.

    The program also aims to stabilize informal lending, locally known as 5-6 lending, and prevent micro enterpreneurs from falling victims from these usurious lenders.

  2. Who are the beneficiaries of the P3 Program? Target beneficiaries of the P3 Program are micro entrepreneurs including, market vendors, sari-sari store owners, stall owners, among others, who are mostly members of cooperatives. To emphasize, only those with existing businesses and are able to pay are qualified under the program. The loan will be exclusively used for business.
  3. Where can micro entrepreneurs avail of the program?The Small Business Corporation (SBC) has identified micro financing institutions (MFIs) or cooperatives throughout the country where the agency can funnel the funds allocated by the National Government and lend to end borrowers or micro entrepreneurs. (See list of MFIs/cooperatives for easy identification).

    The beneficiary can also visit the nearest Negosyo Center, DTI Regional or Provincial Offices.

  4. How much can a micro entrepreneur borrow from the program? An end borrower may avail P5,000 up to P200,000 depending on the size of the business and the enterprise’s ability to pay. For entreprises with at least one (1) employee, beneficiary can borrow up to P200,000.

    The fund should be used for the enterprise’s expansion and/or additional supplies of the business.

  5. What are the requirements for application? Requirements for recipient of the program are:
    a. Duly accomplished loan application
    b. Business registration/DTI Business Name Registration/Valid ID/Barangay Clearance
