Citizen’s Charter
The DTI Citizen’s Charter provides information on the Department’s frontline services, step-by-step procedures, processing time, and fees for requesting services or other transactions.
The DTI Citizen’s Charter reflects the Department’s enhanced standards for all its services to stakeholders consistent with the objectives of Republic Act No. 11032, “An Act Promoting Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services, Amending for the Purpose Republic Act No. 9485, otherwise known as the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, and for other Services.” It aims to reduce processing time of all public transactions and ensure accessible and convenient delivery of services to the public. Detailed in this document are DTI’s frontline services, including step-by-step procedures showing requirements, processing time, and fees.
Below are the frontline activities of the Philippine Accreditation Bureau.
Accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratories, Medical Testing Laboratories, Inspection Bodies, and Proficiency Testing Providers:
- Receiving and Evaluation of Application Requirements for the Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies under LAD. Refer to page 116 of the DTI’s Citizen’s Charter.
- Conducting Assessment for Conformity Assessment Bodies under LAD. Refer to page 120 of the DTI’s Citizen’s Charter.
