ACCREDITATION FOR TESTING LABORATORIES

The Laboratory Accreditation Division handles the accreditation schemes for inspection bodies, testing including medical Laboratories and Calibration Laboratories. This Division assesses testing laboratory and inspection body based on different international standards, which sets out the basic requirements for the competence to carry out specific type of tests, inspection, measurement and/or calibrations. It maintains compliance by PAB to the ILAC and APAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) based on ISO/IEC 17011, APAC MRA 001 and other relevant requirements.

Accreditation of Testing Laboratories – determines through assessment the technical competence of testing laboratories based on the requirements of PNS ISO/IEC 17025 and specific technical requirements relevant to the field of testing.
