Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – MIMAROPA, in collaboration with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – MIMAROPA, capped off a media press conference on 11 March 2025, in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro to banner the agency’s accomplishments on consumer and entrepreneurial development.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO), through the PIA, launched Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas, a project that aims to enhance public engagement and amplify the policies, activities, and achievements of each featured department, consistent with the mandate of the administration’s Bagong Pilipinas governance and leadership agenda.

Representing DTI MIMAROPA on behalf of Regional Director Rodolfo Mariposque were DTI Marinduque Provincial Director (PD) Roniel Macatol, DTI Oriental Mindoro PD Arnel Hutalla, DTI Occidental Mindoro PD Noel Flores, and DTI MIMAROPA Consumer Protection Division Chief Versuelo Garcia III. Meanwhile, DTI Romblon PD Orville Mallorca and DTI Palawan PD Hazel Salvador joined the press event virtually.

PD Macatol presented the agency’s accomplishments on micro, small, and enterprise development and consumer protection, particularly on the continuous increase of entrepreneurs engaged in digitalization. ♦
