NARRA, PALAWAN – Continuing its pivotal initiatives to onboard Palawan’s CARPreneurs in digital marketing platforms, an interactive learning session on the Essentials of Digital Marketing and Promotional Strategies was conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Palawan through the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) on April 30, 2024, at the Elfamcos Office, Barangay Elvita, Narra, Palawan.

The activity is in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Palawan through the Provincial Economic Enterprise Development Office (PEEDO).

Moreover, 15 member-beneficiaries of the  Elvita Farmer Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC) participated in the learning session.

The activity was designed to benefit the Elvita Farmers MPC by providing them with information on the various options needed to thrive in today’s digital world. With a better understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and navigating effective promotional strategies, the cooperative can reach a larger audience and gain a larger market share which will ultimately help them to succeed in the ever-changing digital landscape.

DTI Palawan Trade-Industry Development Specialist Francis Ian Uapal, who served as the resource person during the activity, highlighted the role of social media  in fostering connections among individuals and communities. Social media platforms are being used by business enterprises to provide updates on their business activities and information about their products and/or services to their customers.
