SAN JOSE, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO – Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) joined one of the largest service caravans in the country through the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Occidental Mindoro on 23 April 2024.
Five (5) micro, small, and medium enterprises were awarded with brand development packages worth P50,000.00. The package consists support for laboratory analysis, product packaging and labels.
DTI organized a Business Name and BMBE Registration Desk for the facilitation of registration process for Business Names and Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBEs). DTI and Small Business Corporation staff also provided one-on-one consultations and orientation on the Department’s financing programs, product packaging and label designing, e-Commerce onboarding, and digital marketing. The DTI also organized capacity development sessions focusing on Event Styling 101, along with workshops on Food Styling and Table Curation.
As part of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo program, 35 MSMEs showcased their products during the Agbiliwa Agri-Trade & Tourism Fair. DTI also conducted a Diskwento Caravan to provide the public discounted prices on select basic necessities and prime commodities.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., DTI Chief Alfredo Pasual, DTI MIMAROPA Regional Director Rodolfo Mariposque, DTI Occidental Mindoro Provincial Director Noel Flores led the opening day of the BPSF.
