Twenty-five youth participants from Northern Mindanao completed a bootcamp designed to equip them with resources and skills to start and grow successful businesses.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP), Bootcamp for Young Entrepreneurs (BYE) was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 10 on September 23-26, 2024.

YEP is a focused program of DTI that helps young Filipinos start their own businesses by teaching them what they need to know to become successful entrepreneurs.

Five youth entrepreneurs from each province—Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Misamis Oriental—participated in the program.

The four-day bootcamp equipped the existing and aspiring entrepreneurs with essential business skills, including business model canvass, digitalization, financial analysis, and data-driven marketing analysis.

The program culminated with an industry visit and pitching for youth participants to network and gain actual business insights and advice from successful entrepreneurs.♦
