The initiative is funded under the Shared Service Facilities (SSF), a flagship program of DTI that is designed to provide MSMEs with access to advanced machinery, equipment, and technical support under a shared system.
The SSF project equips the Oro Chamber with state-of-the-art technology, enabling creative entrepreneurs to enhance product quality, foster innovation, and unlock new market opportunities.
The shared facility is envisioned as a dynamic center for creativity and collaboration, addressing long-standing challenges faced by local MSMEs and the creative sector.
The launching signifies a collective effort to empower the region’s creative industry through access to advanced machinery and tools that drive innovation, skill building programs to enhance technical expertise and global competitiveness, and a collaborative workspace designed to inspire creativity and foster partnerships.
In her message during the facility’s launching, DTI Misamis Oriental OIC-Provincial Director Jesua Abear celebrated the initiative as a game-changer for the region.
“The support to OROBEST Creative and Mindspace Center is more than infrastructure; it’s a platform that bridges critical gaps in technology, expertise, and collaboration.” Abear said.
