Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) encourages consumers to make informed choices and exercise their right to choose while also being responsible in comparing items when buying this Christmas season.

As part of its efforts to assist consumers in making budget-friendly choices, DTI has released the 2024 Noche Buena Price Guide.

This is to provide consumers with different options of the 12 widely available listed products to choose from.

The listed products include ham, keso de bola, fruit cocktail, cheese, sandwich spread, all purpose cream, mayonnaise, pasta, elbow macaroni, salad macaroni, spaghetti sauce, and tomato sauce.

Complete details of the Noche Buena Price Guide can be viewed in the DTI website or social media accounts such as the official Facebook page of DTI Region 10.

Aside from the price guide, DTI also advises consumers with the following tips to have a better holiday shopping experience:

• Shop around and compare brands and prices before buying.
• Check the labels such as the expiration date and the price tag.
• Inspect the quality of products to avoid buying fake Noche Buena products. Buy only from trusted stores.
• Look out for discounted and promotional products.
