Varying designs of furniture and décor made of engineered bamboo crafted by different local producers take center stage during the Tatak Pinoy Program: Bamboo and Homestyle Innovation Showcase in Robinsons Iligan, Iligan City on November 2024.

Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Lanao del Norte, the showcase offered a unique platform that facilitates market access by highlighting the potential of engineered bamboo in shaping the future of innovative and sustainable design and construction.

Lanzones-inspired Engineered Bamboo Sofa (HomeBiz Crafts)

It promotes the complementation of creative design industry and construction industry by giving focus on locally crafted furnishing and accenting materials for homes and commercial-building constructions.

It also serves as an avenue for interrelated sectors such as architects, civil engineers, and interior designers convene to network and collaborate.

The exhibit includes designs made by other sustainable materials such as lampakanay and rattan.

The showcase featured different furniture and decors from local exhibitors: Homebiz Crafts, Lampakanay Weavers Association, Rolando Magallon, Higaonon Furnitures & Handicrafts, Crown Furniture Shop, JPP Rattan Containers Manufacturing, Bamboo Technology Research Center (BTRC), United Masibay Farmers Advocates Association Inc., and Digkilaan National High School.  

The Tatak Pinoy Program: Bamboo and Homestyle Innovation Showcase was one of the major events during the Garbo Iligan, Garbo Lanao del Norte 2024: Creative Festival and Exhibit.♦
