An administrative personnel from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan won the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 10 Online Consumer Quiz 2024 on October 24, 2024.

Jaysan Ray Chee, from Cagayan de Oro City, bested more than 30 participants in the regional consumer quiz organized via Zoom.

Chee has been participating in the online consumer quizzes conducted in the previous years. His persistent effort finally paid off as he was declared this year’s winner and took home P5,000 in cash.

Meanwhile, Raymond Cubeta from Cagayan de Oro City won P3,500 at second place while Shane Mae Jagna-an from Lanao del Norte won P2,500 at third place.

The online consumer quiz was open to all residents in Region 10, except those who are aged below 18 years old and who have previously won first place in the onsite and online regional consumer quiz.

This year’s edition recorded a total of 202 registrants. The DTI-10 Online Consumer Quiz is one of the major events organized in celebration of Consumer Welfare Month 2024 with the theme, “Be Smart! Assert your consumer rights.” ♦
