TUGUEGARAO CITY — Focused on empowering entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth, the Department of Trade and Industry R2-Cagayan actively participated in the “Lab for All Caravan” spearheaded by 1st Lady Louise ‘Liza’ Araneta-Marcos on February 27, 2024, at the Cagayan Sports Coliseum and Mamba Gymnasium, Tuguegarao City.

In collaboration with the Provincial Government of Cagayan (PGC), Go Negosyo, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)- Cagayan Chapter, and the Small Business Corporation (SBC), essential business services were extended to Cagayanos. These included free business counseling, assistance with business name registration, and addressing inquiries regarding loan financing. Furthermore, FREE business mentoring sessions were conducted to equip entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners with the requisite knowledge and skills for success.

Assistant Regional Director Winston R. Singun and Provincial Director Henry O. Conel, Jr., along with DTI Region 02 and DTI R2 Cagayan employees, actively participated in the event, reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting local businesses.

Participating agencies/organizations during the LAB for All Caravan in Cagayan were Provincial Health Office (PHO), Department of Health- Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development (DOH-CVCHD), Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Region 02, National Grid Corporation of the Philippine (NGCP), Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), Integrated Philippines Association of Optometrists (IPAO), One Top Medical System Resources, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), National Housing Authority (NHA), and PhilHealth.
