As we celebrate Consumer Welfare Month, the Department of Trade and Industry Region 2 joined forces with the Consumer Network member agencies to conduct a comprehensive and simultaneous monitoring activity in the City of Ilagan, Isabela on 27 October 2023.

During this event, selected business establishments in the City of Ilagan were inspected to ascertain their compliance with the regulations of the Consumer Network’s member agencies.

The DTI R2 and the Consumer Network agencies emphasize the significance of this collaboration in fostering a healthy and transparent business environment where the rights of consumers are protected. It is expected that the results of this monitoring activity will lead to improvements in business practices and, in turn, enhance consumer confidence in the marketplace.

The DTI R2 and its partners extend their gratitude to the City of Ilagan, Isabela, and all participating businesses for their cooperation in this essential endeavor.

The said activity was led by the DTI R2 and joined by the different network agencies: DA, DENR, EMB, BFAR, NMIS, DOLE, SSS, NBI, and LGU Ilagan.
