In collaboration with the Provincial Government of Quirino, Intellectual Property Office, and SB Corporation, the Department of Trade and Industry(DTI) R2 SMEDD and DTI R2 Quirino Provincial Office initiated an IPO-FDA-SB CORP-Financing Services Roadshow for Quirino

A total of sixty (60) Quirino MSMEs had joined the event on 25 July 2024 at Quirino Water Sports Resto Hall, Capitol Hills, San Marcos, Cabarroguis , Quirino.  The activity promotes and brings closer to MSMEs the services of the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and SB Corporation. It aims to enhance firm’s competitiveness through compliance with quality certifications, registration of intellectual assets, facilitate access to various financial services, all geared towards improving productivity and expanding markets of local enterprises.

Provincial Director Mary Ann Dy of DTI R2 Quirino sets the expected outcomes of the activity while Mr. Elmor Villaruel, Executive Assistant of Governor Dax Cua, affirmed the support of the Provincial Government of Quirino in promoting livelihood and entrepreneurship in the province.

Other speakers are Engr. Janica B. Tacazon, IP Officer – North Luzon Cluster of Intellectual Property Office (IPO); Mr. Marco T. Accad, TIDS of DTI R2 under Food Regulatory and Certifications; Kristel Jane C. Gudoy, Quirino, SB-Corp Field Officer of Small Business Corporation; Ms. Ma. Retchelle D. Jose, Chief Executive Officer of DISADECO; Manager Imelda Eisma, Account Officer of Development Bank of the Philippines – Ilagan Lending Center; and Mr. Philip A. Eusebio, Branch Manager – Cabarroguis of BanKO, a subsidiary of Bank of the Philippine Islands.

Following the lecture-discussions are one-on-one consultation of MSMEs with the participating institutions to address queries and facilitate applications for registration.
