The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 congratulates the outstanding Local Government Units (LGUs) of Region 2 for their remarkable achievements at the 2024 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Awarding, during the Creative Cities and Municipalities Congress (CCMC) 2024 on 23 August 2024 at The Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
The invaluable support and guidance of DTI Region 2, headed by Regional Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag, CESO V, played a crucial role in assisting these LGUs in enhancing their competitiveness, providing the necessary resources, training, and mentorship to help them achieve these significant milestones.

The CCMC 2024, held in conjunction with these recognitions, our LGUs are inspired to continue their journey toward competitiveness, creativity, and sustainability, contributing to the country’s overall goal embedded in the Ambisyon Natin 2040.
