The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) of Region 2, composed of the Department of Labor and Employment Region 2 (DOLE R2), Department of Trade and Industry Region 2 (DTI R2), National Economic and Development Authority Region 2 (NEDA R2), and two employer’s and two employee’s representatives, is the “Best Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board” during the 2023 Productivity Olympics held at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City, on 19 October 2023.

The RTWPB is composed of DOLE Regional Director Jesus Elpidio B. Atal, Chairperson; DTI Regional Director Leah Pulido Ocampo, Vice Chairperson; NEDA Regional Director Dionisio C. Ledres Jr., Vice Chairperson; and Mr. Gerald C. Tactay; Mr. Gary Ka Hong U Chong; Mr. Jesus B. Villamor; and Mr. Johnny M. Alvaro, Board Members.

The said competition was organized by the National Wages and Productivity Commission in coordination with the 16 Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs) with the theme “From Striving to Thriving: Reset and Reposition for Impact.”

Launched in 2008, the Productivity Olympics of the National Wages and Productivity Commission is a significant biennial competition to promote productivity and stimulate healthy and positive competition among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the agribusiness, service, and industry sectors. The objective of this prestigious event is to intensify national awareness and commitment to quality and productivity and showcase the best productivity improvement programs of MSMEs across the country. #
