Rizal, Laguna — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office, through Negosyo Center Rizal, conducted a webinar last July 23, 2024, which attracted 22 existing and potential micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from various cities and municipalities within Laguna.
The webinar titled “Essentials To Start A Business: Leveraging Digital Publishing To Promoting A New Business Or Product” aimed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge.
Ms. Nicole Concejero, Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Rizal, served as the host and primary speaker. She provided an in-depth discussion on the purpose and importance of digital publishing in promoting new businesses and products. Following this, the discussion expanded to cover the what types of content to produce which are beneficial, depending on what type of business the participants have. This includes insights into various social media platforms and the use of photo and video editing tools and equipment that can enhance their promotional efforts.
In addition, Concejero shared practical tips and strategies for creating engaging and aesthetically pleasing content that effectively attracts and retains target consumers.
The webinar concluded with positive feedback from attendees, who expressed their satisfaction through the Client Satisfaction Form. The program was highly praised by both potential and existing MSMEs, who appreciated the relevant and actionable information provided. The enthusiasm for the session was evident, with many participants expressing a strong interest in future training opportunities. They specifically requested additional seminars focusing on finance and accounting topics, highlighting the growing need for comprehensive business education and support from DTI-Laguna.
