Rizal, Laguna — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office facilitated a training on registration and licensing, as well as 6S of good housekeeping cum consumer education, in collaboration with CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc.

The said training was conducted through Negosyo Center Rizal of DTI-Laguna on April 25, 2024, at the CMDI Campus in Brgy. Tranca, Bay, Laguna, and was attended by 60 existing and potential microentrepreneurs from different cities and municipalities of the CALABARZON Region.

It was a 2-day training hosted by the training officer of CARD-MRI, Ms. Hezel Aput. The speakers from DTI-Laguna, Ms. Nicole Concejero (Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Rizal) and Ms. Michelle Caymo (Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Nagcarlan), discussed various topics for potential microentrepreneurs starting with the DTI programs and services cum consumer education by Caymo. Afterwards, the topics on registration and licensing, as well as the 6S of good housekeeping, were delivered by Concejero. The speakers provided a step-by-step process on registering their businesses as well as information in legalizing their business to build their identity and create legality. Additionally, the fundamentals of good housekeeping were discussed for them to have an idea for a safe and friendly workplace. The activity was filled with topic-related antics by the participants which made them actively participate. The discussion ended with positive comments from the participants and their satisfaction was expressed through grading their Client Satisfactory Form. The program was commended by the existing and potential microentrepreneurs and by the CARD-MRI training officers, thus looking forward to more collaborations in future training and seminars with DTI-Laguna. ♦
