Laguna Provincial Office assisting local government units in Laguna with their preparations for conducting business one-stop shops

VICTORIA, LAGUNA — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office began actively assisting local government units in Laguna in December 2023 with their preparations for conducting business one-stop shops in January 2024 through its Negosyo Centers.

As part of the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, all cities and municipalities in Laguna as directed by the Anti Red Tape Authority put up electronic business one-stop shops to provide faster and more convenient way of government processes.

From January 2 to 31, a total of 3,760 business name registrations (new and renewal transactions) and 185 Barangay Micro Business Enterprise Certificates of Authority were processed and released in the province of Laguna. ♦
