TAGKAWAYN, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through its Negosyo Center Tagkawayan, participated in the Ceremonial Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding: Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS) in Tagkawayan, Quezon.

This is part of the continuous conduct of Community Visitation by the 85th Infantry Battalion to revisit their area of operation, which was allegedly affected by the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG). Almost one hundred twenty (120) former rebels and potential MSMEs were given an orientation on the different programs and services of DTI. Negosyo Center Tagkawayan – Business Counselor Ms. Riezl Jane Hernandez also disseminated information materials to participants.

Present at the said event were the Municipal Mayor of Tagkawayan, Hon. Luis Oscar T. Eleazar, Vice Mayor Danilo L. Liwanag, officers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and representatives of National Agencies. Also seen at the event were the Sangguniang Bayan Officials, LGU department heads, and Barangay Chairman of different barangays. ♦
