TAYABAS, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon joined the Inauguration and Blessing of Tonio’s Sisig Manufacturing Plant on May 13, 2023, located at Maharlika Highway, Barangay Calumpang, Tayabas City.

Tonio’s Sisig is one of the beneficiaries of the OTOP Program in the year 2020, wherein they were given new packaging and label design for their famous sisig. Later, the design concept was adopted for all their products, which include chicken sisig, beef sisig, kilawin, lumpiang shanghai, bagnet, and many more. Also, aside from being an OTOpreneur, Tonio’s Sisig is also part of the Kapatid Mentor Me Program of DTI-Quezon in 2019.

During the event, DTI Quezon Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa gave an inspirational message and recognized the hard work, perseverance, and vision for innovation of Mr. Antonio and Mrs. Rowena Hachaso, owners of Tonio’s Sisig. She also emphasized that the couple’s passion for their business and compassion for their employees contributed to the success of the business and it is becoming one of the homegrown brands in Quezon Province. ♦
