JALAJALA, RIZAL – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Rizal in coordination with the Board of Investment (BOI) and the Local Government of Jalajala held a collaborative meeting and an onsite visit to potential investment areas in Jalajala Rizal.

The potential and current investment opportunities in the municipality, including the Solar Panels and Wind Farm Projects, as well as the LGU’s initiatives and strategies in promoting investment, were discussed during the meeting. Areas visited were Cleofas Property in Barangay Sipsipin, Public Market in Barangay Third District, the rice mill facilities and fish landing center in Barangay Punta, proposed site of Hydro Plant in Barangay Pagkalinawan and Diversion Road in Barangay Bagumbong.

The initial meeting was headed by the DTI Rizal OIC Provincial Director Cleotilde Duran, BOI Director for Domestic Investments Promotion Service Ms. Maria Rosario J. Dominguez and Jalajala Municipal Mayor Hon. Elmer C. Pillas and Vice Mayor Hon. Jarry Añago.

Present during the visit were LGU Department Heads Ms. Kayle Bathan, Ms. Ofelia Candelaria, Ms. Jonabelle Baluca, Municipal Administrator Mr. Ernesto Tambongco and Oscar Perez together with them was the former Municipal Counselor Mr. Froilan Candelaria and LGU Consultant Mr. Jorge Solomon. BOI Team composed of Ms. Jean Traballo, Ms. Clarrisa Gonzales together with DTI Rizal Team with DC Sharon F. Dioco STIDS Marlene De Luna, and Mr. Bryant Kim An of PCCI Antipolo joined the Team. ♦
