The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Rizal Provincial Office conducted a webinar on Costing and Pricing for Non-food Industry on August 16, 2023, via zoom.
The training was under the Creative Industry Module of Collaborative Harnessing Assistance for Mentoring Program for SMEs (CHAMPS) in Rizal Season 4. It is a localized remote mentoring project for micro entrepreneurs which main objectives is to help micro entrepreneurs in preparing to a more extensive DTI Programs like KMME and OTOP NG.
Mr. Leandro M. Lontok, a Certified Public Accountant and the Founder and Partner of CLTA and Co. was the webinar’s resource speaker. The topics include in Costing were Classification of Cost, Behavioral Classification of Costs, Methods of Costing, Techniques of Costing, System of Costing and Purposes of Standard Costing. Mr. Lontok also discussed the Pricing Policies, Price and Demand, What Influence Price Sensitivity, Price Quality Strategies, Factors affecting Pricing Decision, Pricing Strategies and other techniques. He also highlighted the importance of proper costing and proper pricing.
Gracing the activity was the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Antipolo City, Executive Vice President Mr. Bryant Kim Ann together with him were DTI Rizal’s Ms. Marlene De Luna and Ms. Jonalyn Adaya.
The webinar hosted by Negosyo Center Jalajala Business counselor Elaine Suazo was attended by 34 zoom participants. ♦
