DTI Rizal joins LGU Jalajala in a Micro-Entrepreneurs Forum

Jalajala Rizal – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal Provincial Office was invited by the Municipality of Jalajala Rizal, to once again be part of the Local Government initiative “Forum on Livelihood Program, Resource Information and Technology for Small Business Owners”.

The program initiated by Mayor Elmer C. Pillas, generally aim to improve the knowledge of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on sustainable livelihood and use of modern technologies to improved business opportunities.

Ms. Marlene G. De Luna, DTI Rizal Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist represented the agency and discussed its programs and services that intend to assist Micro Small Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) in Province.

On the same day, 23 sari-sari store owners received livelihood kits from local government.  LGU Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), as the lead department, was represented by the office head Ms. Kayle P. Bathan. The mentoring program was graced by the presence of Municipal Administrator Ernesto Tambongco  and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Karen Viterbo. ♦
