The DTI Region 4-A Rizal, together with Rizal MSEs, actively participated in ProPak Philippines 2025, held from February 12-14 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. The delegation attended the event on its second day, exploring the latest advancements in processing and packaging technologies.

ProPak Philippines is recognized as the premier international trade event for processing and packaging in the country, drawing industry leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders. The President of the Employers Confederation of the Philippines Rizal (ECOP – Rizal), Mr. Bryant Kim An and other government agencies, including the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Rizal and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), also took part in the event, further emphasizing the importance of inter-agency collaboration in supporting such industries.

One of the highlights of the event was the Beyond the Box: Sustainable Packaging Forum, hosted by Prestige Paper Products and facilitated by Lester Rodil. This seminar was conducted in collaboration with Benilde Industrial Design, represented by its department chair, Mr. Romeo Catap Jr. The session featured esteemed speakers, including Mr. Ronald Rommel Viloria, one of Rizal’s best designers specializing in labels and packaging, and Ms. Rachel Leones, owner of Creativly Studio, one of the notable designs and printing companies in Rizal. As speakers and consultants, Mr. Viloria and Ms. Leones shared valuable insights on innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
