Lumban, Laguna – One of the responsibilities of Negosyo Center is to promote ease of doing business and facilitate access to services for MSMEs within its jurisdiction, and by means of access to services, SME Roving Academy (SMERA) is one of the DTI continuous learning programs designed for the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) for them to become competitive in the domestic and international markets.
In order to help existing and potential entrepreneurs learn more about adapting to the new normal, business resilience strategies and digital technologies that can help businesses grow and be competitive, the Negosyo Center Lumban conducted a SME Roving Academy (SMERA) entitled “E-commerce: Utilizing Different Technologies” last 26 November 2021. The said activity was spearheaded by NCBC Lumban Ms. Jamila Eleazar together with Joel R. Galit held via Zoom.
Joel Galit, the resource speaker of the said webinar, clearly discussed some tips on adapting to the new normal, business resilience strategies, benefits of digital technologies and entering the world of e-commerce. To further equip and make the entire learning experience of the participants complete, the NC Lumban Business Counselor will send each participant with a copy of a “E-commerce: Utilizing Different Technologies” power point which they can use as reference or guide in managing their own business.
The seminar received positive comments from the participants and they expressed their satisfaction with the learning activity. All of the participants who answered the Client Satisfaction Form graded it passed. Overall, the SMERA program was commended by the potential and existing MSMEs and that they are pleased to join the future seminars, mentoring and coaching sessions of the Negosyo Center Lumban.
