PAKIL, LAGUNA — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office, through Negosyo Center Pakil, celebrated the successful conduct of a webinar entitled “Social Media Management and Marketing Strategies Made Simple cum Consumer Education” as part of the Center’s small medium enterprise roving academy that aimed at boosting the capabilities of new and potential micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from different cities and municipalities across the Philippines in the realm of social media management and marketing strategies, coupled with essential consumer education.
Hosted by the Senior Business Counsellor Andrea Mae Macuha, the webinar kicked off promptly at 9:00 AM, opening with a moment of reflection to set a positive tone. Macuha warmly welcomed all sixty-six (66) participants, representing various MSMEs, expressing gratitude not only for their presence but also for the invaluable contributions of the esteemed speaker, Ms. Rica Mae Ceria, Junior Business Counsellor.
The core discourse revolved around social media management and marketing strategies, with a sharp focus on leveraging Facebook and utilizing Canva for dynamic content creation. Participants enthusiastically engaged in hands-on activities designed to sharpen their skills in crafting visually interesting Facebook posts, underlining the pivotal role of engaging captions in driving product or service promotion. Furthermore, the session delved into vital consumer education and advocacy, shedding light on the importance of understanding consumer rights and responsibilities.
A dedicated questions and answers segment provided an enriching exchange, allowing attendees to delve deeper into the topics covered.
